Dr. Ronald E. Ramsey holds a law degree from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover, Massachusetts, a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio, a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Divinity from Morehouse School of Religion - ITC, Atlanta, a Graduate Certificate from the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, MA, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Warner University, Lake Wales, Florida.
Dr. Ramsey has been a Christian leader and an ordained minister for more than forty years. He is the author of five books - Pastoral Leadership in the Black Church (Richard Osborne Publishers), Maiden Voyage: Practical Advice for New Pastors (iUniverse), Living Water: Sermons for All Seasons (iUniverse), The Water's Edge: A Collection of Poems (iUniverse), Help From The Hills: Meditations on the Spiritual Life (iUniverse). In addition, he has experience as a Business Coach and Management and Human Resources Consultant, serving in both retail and community development arenas.
Father Ramsey joined the Grace Church family on March 1, 2024
as Interim Rector. In this role, his leadership is essential
to maintaining stability, fostering growth, and preparing the congregation for new leadership. The congregation is thrilled to have him serve as the bridge between the past and future of the parish embodying the Episcopal Church's commitment to faithful stewardship and discernment during times of transition.
